Uploading a video to SharePoint 2007 in seconds
A quick post to show you my favourite feature on some of our new SharePoint solutions. The video below shows a system we have built which allows you to upload a video to a SharePoint page in seconds.

Interesting integration of video in the page, but just a thought: from what I had learned in the past it was generally not recommended to store large media (video) files directly in SharePoint libraries ?
How is this being done on your sites ? They’re stored as attachments in a custom list… ? Or in a document library ?

Hi Mike
My task at school is to make our new SIMS SLG available to teachers, students and parents.
Being new to SharePoint, I am looking at different way to allow teachers to publish lessons on-line through SP.
Your post on uploading movies is a feature we would use, but did you make the web part yourself or buy the part?
I stumbled on your site while researching Outlook calendars and SP and I like your style.
Thanks
Peter
