This week on SharePoint in Education: What is a VLE MLE and Learning Platform?
Now that school is out and many colleagues have gone on a well deserved holiday I thought I should unleash a few series I have written over the last term which I have not had chance to post. This week I am going to focus on three key terms I hear at almost any e-learning conference I attend: VLE, MLE and Learning Platform. As many of you will know it is a pet hate of mine that these terms are used as if they are interchangeable and often with little understanding of what they mean.
What do the terms VLE, MLE and Learning Platform mean and how are they related? During the series I will be releasing 15 posts throughout the next week and the whole series will then be made available as an e-book to download and share with your colleagues.
